The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity Programs (NEEO) provides leadership, direction, and guidance to carry out NARA’s equal employment opportunity programs according to Federal laws, statutes, regulations, and policies. The EEO program is a neutral program designed to prohibit discrimination in employment and to promote equal opportunities through a continuing affirmative employment program. Accordingly, NEEO is responsible for addressing the fair treatment of an employee’s benefits, privileges, or conditions of employment without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, genetic information, and reprisal for prior EEO activity. NEEO is also responsible for assisting NARA’s leadership identify and eliminate employment barriers that restrict equal opportunities for all employees and applicants for employment. This is accomplished the fair and equitable use of NARA’s employment policies, practices, and procedures.
