The Office of the Federal Register publishes:

  • the official text of Federal laws

  • Presidential documents

  • administrative regulations and notices

  • descriptions of Federal organizations, programs and activities

The Office of the Federal Register also administers the Electoral College and Constitutional Amendment process.

Office of the Federal Register publications and online services:

  • inform citizens of their rights and obligations

  • document the actions of Federal agencies

  • provide a forum for public participation in the democratic process

  • U.S. Statutes at Large

  • Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents

  • Public Papers of the Presidents

  • United States Government Manual
