Advanced Research TechWatch Presentations

The Applied Research staff work closely with a variety of NARA units to understand customer and business needs, and to evaluate technologies, theories and methods for advancing the lifecycle of electronic records.  Through our TechWatch presentations, we gather NARA customer and business needs/requirements, and identify potential researchers and industry vendors whose products may offer solutions to common archival, business, and technology challenges, such as:

  • Networking and Security
  • Advanced Search
  • Cloud Computing Services

  • Data Warehousing/Storage
  • Data Management and
    Visualization

Applied Research TechWatch presentations are open to everyone – both NARA staff and the general public.  Presentations are held primarily at the National Archives building at College Park, MD, but are available by teleconference. For more information or to obtain the teleconference call-in information, send an email to appliedresearch@nara.gov or call 301-837-0365.
