Coming From Over Here to "Over There": Douglas County and the WW I Draft

Home School History student Hannah Page, with the help of family and friends, gathered data on the approximately 2,500 Douglas County, Georgia citizens who registered for the World War I Draft. The project took nearly a year to complete with many research visits to the National Archives at Atlanta. This is her article about her project that was published in Chapel Hill News and Views, a monthly magazine serving Douglas County.
