CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE I.

Sec. 1-- The name of this Indian Organization shall be the
MISSION INDIAN FEDERATION.

Sec. 2-- Its object are to secure by legislation or otherwise all the rights and benefits belonging to each Indian, both singly, and collectively- to protect then against unjust laws- rules- and regulations- to guard the interests of each member against unjust and illegal treatment.

Sec.3-- There shall be three classes of Meetings as follows:
Conferences, Councils and Conventions.

Sec. 4-- Conferences are meetings called to discuss- and recommend action on matters requiring prompt actionand attention;  Councils are the regular monthly meetings and shall be held on the second Sunday of each month, and should be attended by the Chiefs, Captains and the Head-men of each Tribe:  Councils are empowered to act upon all important matters, and this action shall be binding upon the members.

Sec.5-- Conventions are the semi-annual Meetings, or Law-Making Body, of the Mission Indian Federation.

ARTICLE II.

Sec. 1-- “HUMAN RIGHTS AND HOME RULE”, shall be the Slogan”adopted by the Mission Indian Federation.

Sec.2-- The Mission Indian Federation, shall be both Non-Political and Non-Sectarian, the discussion of which is most stringently forbidden in the C ouncils, and Conventions.

ARTICLE III.

Sec.1-- The Grand Officers of the Mission Indian Federation shall be as follows, Grand Chief Counselor, Jonathan Tibbet,
Grand Chief Inspector, Chief Joe Pete, Bartizal Rice  
Grand President, Adam Castillo,
Grand 1st. Vice-President, Robert Magee
