World War II On the Home Front
Office of Civilian Defense Bulletins
The Los Angeles County War Council circulated these bulletins during the Second World War. A typical bulletin may have been read as an announcement on the radio or published in a newspaper or magazine in order to publicize government policies or enlist the help of average citizens in the war effort.
Bulletins, used by the Office of Civil Defense to communicate war-time policies to residents of the Los Angeles area.
