How can I get some important documents that I own repaired?

The Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation (FAIC) maintains a Conservation Services Referral System, providing lists of conservation professionals grouped geographically, by specialization, and by the type of service.

The American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) provides Guidelines for Selecting a Conservator.
