MEMORANDUM TO FEDERAL AGENCY RECORDS CONTACTS: NARA Bulletin 2009-02
I am pleased to notify you that NARA has issued NARA Bulletin 2009-02, Guidance Concerning Managing Records in Multi-Agency Environments. This bulletin states that Federal agencies participating in collaborative endeavors with other Federal and non-Federal agencies create Federal records. The records created and received in these multi-agency environments must be managed according to the Federal Records Act and NARA regulations specifically 36 CFR 1228.12.
