Operation Of Sterilization

In 1974, a woman sued members of the Eugenics Board of North Carolina because she had been sterilized in 1968. The board declared that as a "feeble-minded" welfare recipient she should not be encouraged to procreate. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is listed as one of her ACLU lawyers.
