Educators, join us on Friday, March 8 for a professional development workshop presented by the White House Historical Association and the LBJ Presidential Library. Space is limited. A nonrefundable $20 registration fee reserves your spot and includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Workshop Details

The location of the White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, is one of the world's most famous addresses. For over 200 years, this historic mansion has been the home and office of the President of the United States, including the 36th president, Lyndon B. Johnson.

Whitney HayneJoin White House Historical Association educator Whitney Hayne to discover the history behind this iconic building and how it can enhance your curriculum. This full-day workshop will include information on the changing architecture of the building, glimpses into the lives of first families, and stories of the workers that have allowed the Executive Mansion to thrive over the centuries. Participants will come away with several activities to bring back to their classrooms, including virtually touring the White House's public spaces.
