Tightrope: Americans Reaching for Hope examines the contemporary crisis in working-class America through the lens of the families Nick grew up within the rural, working-class town of Yamhill, Oregon.

Looking with clear eyes at our nation’s governmental failures over the past half-century, the authors examine the contemporary crisis in working-class America. The program will be moderated by Nixon Foundation President Hugh Hewitt.

Authors Kristof and WuDunn will sign copies of Tightrope: Americans Reaching for Hope following the program. This is a Foundation-sponsored event.
