Join us for a screening of the 25th-anniversary version of the PBS documentary One Woman, One Vote, featuring an introduction by Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The film documents the 70-year struggle for women's suffrage that culminated in the ratification of the 19th Amendment. Discover why the crusaders faced entrenched opposition from men and women who feared the women's vote would ignite a social revolution.

Following the film, Lottie Joiner (editor-In-chief, The Crisis magazine) will moderate a panel discussion with Rebecca Boggs Roberts, journalist, radio show host, author Suffragists in Washington DC: The 1913 Parade and the Fight for the Vote; and  Tsi-tsi-ki Felix, daily news anchor and a Sunday political talk show host on Entravision.

Presented in partnership with the One Woman, One Vote Film Festival, and the 2020 Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission.
