Join us for a 5-day, July 23 - July 27, Teacher Academy at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, CA. The dramatic history of Soviet-American relations spanned five decades, eight presidents, and defined a century. This once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunity brings together the Truman Library Institute, the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, TeachingAmericanHistory.org, and the National Council for History Education in a robust and engaging exploration of how Presidents, from Truman to Reagan, navigated the icy waters of the Cold War. From the Truman Doctrine to the INF Treaty, examine the profound effects of how Cold War tensions shaped foreign policy and the fabric of American life.

Teacher Academy participants will learn from top scholars and educators, participate in unique and memorable experiential learning activities, network with teachers from across the nation, and enjoy unique access to the Reagan Presidential Library.

Registration includes a light breakfast each morning, museum admission to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, historical thinking instruction, curriculum materials and catered lunch.

Early Bird tickets are available for $100.00 until June 15, 2018 or until tickets sell out.
