World War II Code Girls: What’s in a Name?

During World War II, women answered the call to enter the workplace, and “Code Girls” filled the demand for cryptographers. Women’s records are historically difficult to research, however, due to name changes after marriage. Reference Archives Specialist Cara Moore Lebonick takes you through the process of tracking down “Code Girl” personnel records and deciphering what they can reveal! Lebonick will be presenting from her workplace in St. Louis.
