Join us Saturday, July 4, as we celebrate our nation's birthday!

All exhibits, including the Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom, which houses the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, will be open to the public from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on July 4.

All of the Presidential library museums are open on the 4th of July.

Federal holiday iconAll National Archives research rooms will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

The National Archives in Washington, DC celebrated the 238th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2014. Highlights include fife & drum music, dramatic historical readings, archives exhibits, family activities and entertainment, all free and open to the public. Captioning provided by YouTube
