  dcterms:description "General Purpose RAW (GPR, GoPro GPR) is a raw image format native to GoPro cameras. It was first introduced with the HERO5 model in 2016. Like many other camera RAW formats, it is proprietary, although GPR is an extension of the Adobe Digital Negative Format (DNG). Unlike other RAW image formats, the GPR format utilizes lossy VC-5 compression at image creation for faster storage and smaller files. An additional JPEG copy file is saved in the GoPro at image creation but not included in the GPR metadata. Some tools are available for rendering and converting GPR. Due to the proprietary nature of the format, NARA recommends transforming to the more widely supported Digital Negative Format (DNG) for preservation." ;
