nec/sally katzen is trying to set up a meeting today at 5 to prepare for 
meeting w/ potus now scheduled for tomorrow p.m.  i think katie sent you 
an e-mail on the current state of play.

katie had to go home sick today and won't be here for the meeting.  as 
always, sally's anxious to know where ovp is on all this.  if you can't go 
to the meeting, and would like me to deliver any info, let me know.  if 
you're not comfortable w/ our current position, or if you want more info, 
pls let me know that too.  we're going to try to get some internal 
agreement at least on what issues will be raised w/ potus tomorrow.
