1.  POTUS loved the idea for a private-sector blue ribbon Ed Tech panel.  

He wants thgem to report semi-annually on progress.  Let's get it 

rolling.  Give me a possible time table for roll out, so I can work w/ 

scheduling.



2.  On Friday, POTUS wants to call on FCC to act on Kid TV, to get back in 

the story -- noting especially his role as the first federal official to 

endorse the FCC rule 9 months ago.  If rumors are correct that the FCC 

might act on this on Thurs, 6/27, then normal practice would have the FCC 

list an agenda for that meeting on Thursday afternoon, so POTUS comment on 

Friday AM could play off such a potential notice.  You should draft 

something for Vicki Radd to include in Friday's speech.



3.  FCC Commissioner.  We need to get into the lunch memo tomorrow some 

ideas on new candidates.
