TEXT:
1.  Air Safety.  You will have this memo on Saturday.  We really need 

decisions on Monday, to get this out on Wednesday.  We just cannot let the 

establishment of the Commission drag past that point.



2.  Lunch Memo for Next Week. I have left behind a memo that raises some 

items.  David knows to get you a memo with more current items from the 

rest of the staff.  This coming lunch (Friday, August 2nd) is your last 

with the President for three weeks, due to your respective vacations.



3.  Cronkite/Reeves Calls.  Heather will have call sheets for these, which 

I have prepared and sent to her.  I think you should make these calls on 

Monday or Tuesday.



4.  Olympics Management.  I will still be participating in the daily 

meetings and Conference Calls from Atlanta, both on management and 

security issues.  



Finally, Heather knows how to get me by pager or by phone at my 

mother-in-law's house.   David and Lorraine will have things covered in my 

absence.
