Here's the latest: POTUS is still considering the list and what he wants 

to do . He didn't like the list that went into him, and wants to think 

about a different kind of group. Perhaps, wants it to have folks with more 

gravitas.  Will give speech on this in mid-May. Still wants a group of 

some sort to go with his initiative. Bennet piece in today's NYT was 

essentially accurate. VP has not seen the memos and the lists yet because 

I have the paper. This is something they should discuss at lunch tomorrow 

if VP wants to raise it. How do we get him this paper efficiently? What do 

you need for the lunch memo? Let me know asap. than
