WHile I am out this morning and LIsa is off studying for her exam, could
you please:
1. Tell Scott Hynes if you think we will have anything for the VP to
discuss with POTUS at lunch. Bob mentions the teacher thing here and I
think we want him to say something but its not a new subject for him.
There may be other things on budget, Y2K or something else we will then
need to prepare paper on by 5 PM for (You?).
2. While you are at it put together a list of possible things for me to
talk to the VP about at my noon meeting with him tomorrow. Then we can
discuss later today on your slot on my calendar.
3. While you are at it, keep a close eye on the scheduling desk.

Does the VP need to raise the education initiative? Also I think
law
enforcement, like education, is a mainly local issue that matters to
people. I think Pam is on to something with the results focus.
Worth raising w/the VP sometime soon. You might ask Pam to put
together a
little proposal for VP leadership on the issue.
