Taken in June 1973 at South Street Seaport in New York City, this photograph is from the EPA's DOCUMERICA Program to document subjects of environmental concern in America during the 1970s. The caption reads: "Folk singing and dancing has found a new home at the South Street Seaport on the East River near Brooklyn Bridge. Enthusiastic crowds gather several times a week during the summer to enjoy the show and the music, view the harbor boats, and breathe the sea air. 06/1973 "
