Details: For 65 years, since Gen. George S. Patton Jr. deposited them at The Huntington, the institution has had in its holdings the original Nuremberg Laws.  Signed by Hitler, these documents led to the systematic extermination of more than 6 million Jews. At a news conference on Aug. 25, The Huntington will transfer permanent custody of the documents to the National Archives, the repository for the nation's most important historical records.
