Cost: FreeThe National Archives Southeast Region is pleased to welcome distinguished author Michael J. Neufeld to Georgia. Neufeld is the author of the recently published book, Von Braun: Dreamer of Space/Engineer of War. He will discuss Wernher von Braun, the complex and brilliant rocket engineer who became one of the fathers of the U. S. space program. He will be available to sign books after his presentation.

Cost: FreeFootnote.com has an agreement with the National Archives to digitize selected records from the vast holdings of the National Archives. Among the millions of pages digitized so far are the Southern Claims Commission, Civil War Pension Index, and the records of the American Colonization Society. The records are available via www.footnote.com and may be accessed at no charge in National Archives research rooms in Washington D.C. and regional facilities across the country.

Cost: FreeThe Access to Archival Databases (AAD) resource contains a selection of historic databases preserved permanently in NARA. The records cover a wide variety of civilian and military functions and have many genealogical, social, political, and economic research uses. New additions include data files relating to the immigration of Russians, Germans, and Italians to the United States.
