About the Foundation

The Foundation is directed by men and women from the private sector who are dedicated to the institution that holds and preserves the records of the United States of America.

The Archives Shop plays a vital role in fulfilling the mission of the Foundation for the National Archives by providing quality products and publications based on the holdings of the National Archives. Extend your educational journey at home and at school with products developed especially for the Foundation. Proceeds support the National Archives Experience and educational programming at the Archives.

Magna Carta and the Constitution

National Archives, Washington, DC

To celebrate the return of the Magna Carta to the National Archives, A. E. Dick Howard of the University of Virginia moderates a discussion on its connection to the Constitution. Panelists include David M. Rubenstein, Peter Onuf, Renée Lettow Lerner, and Zachary Elkins. The Magna Carta will be on display in the Rotunda for viewing after the program.

Consort Anon

Listen to 13th-century music performed by Consort Anon, or write a royal proclamation just like King Edward I. Watch The Revenge of Robin Hood, an episode of the 1960s sci-fi television series The Time Tunnel, or try your hand at making a pin wheel, rolling candles, or playing Queek, a game played by 13th-century children.
