$37,149 for a one-year project, in collaboration with the Aerospace
Education Center, to arrange and describe a portion of the Jay Miller Aviation
History Collection. The records will be processed, a printed finding aid
prepared, and descriptions of the records entered into OCLC. (97-062)

$3,600 for a consultant to plan the city's archival and records management

University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Little Rock, AR
$19,789 to arrange, describe and make available the papers of J.N.
Heiskell, publisher, editor, and owner of the Arkansas Gazette between
1902 and 1972. The grant also will support preservation of a 19-century
Arkansas history collection of manuscripts, maps, and photographs. (86-044)
Arkansas State Historical Records Advisory Board, Little Rock, AR
$25,000 to analyze the current condition of historical records in the
state, identify problems, frame potential solutions, and outline actions
that can be taken. (83-071)
Phillips County, Helena, AR
$6,275 for a consultant study to assess records needs in the county
and current legislation on local records, and to develop a plan for a comprehensive
county archives/records management program. (81-087)
University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR
$35,101 to arrange and describe the personal papers and office files
of Orval Faubus, former governor of Arkansas. The papers date from the
late 1930s to the late 1960s. (79-087)
