World War I Draft Cards
Despite the growing popularity of the game, its professional players were not exempt from registering for the World War I draft along with some twenty-four million of their fellow countrymen. Not only were African American players segregated from their white couterparts on the diamond, but some of their draft cards were marked differently in order to keep them segregated throughout the draft and induction process.

Can you identify the difference on the cards?
