Edward Teller Letter Concerning Black Mathematician

Theoretical physicist Edward Teller, who would later be known as "the father of the hydrogen bomb," wrote this letter on September 18,1944 recommending the services of Mr. Wilkins for a new position. Mr. Wilkins was an African American mathematician who could no longer work with his team because they were moving to Oak Ridge, Tennessee - site "X."
