Transmittal Of Pass For James Chadwick

This document simply states that James Chadwick has a pass to visit both Y-12 and X-10 on the Oak Ridge, Tennessee reservation from October 21 through October 26, 1944. James Chadwick was a British scientist who worked at the Canadian facility that was part of the Manhattan Project. Chadwick was the scientist who discovered the neutron which made nuclear fission possible.
