This photograph shows a young scientist viewing a diagram of a cyclotron. The photograph was either taken at Harvard University or the University of California at Berkeley. The cyclotron, invented at Cal-Berkeley, was the design used for the Calutrons at Y-12 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
