Electricity Supports War Production

In its continuing effort to communicate the benefits of electricity to the Tennessee Valley region, TVA photographed various scenes of industry and families using electric power. Two such scenes are depicted in photographs of the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) and the Tennessee Shoe Factory, as their use of TVA electricity contributed aluminum and shoes to the war effort.
