1968 TVA Power

The Tennessee Valley Authority‘s 1968 publication "TVA Power" highlighted some of the agency's accomplishments and significant growth over the years. The cover photograph depicts a cooling tower at the Paradise Steam Plant which was forty stories tall and wide enough to contain an entire football field. In 1967, the TVA Power System generated eighty-six billion Kwh, almost double the production of the next largest power system in the U.S. This is only an excerpt from the larger publication document.
