Gilbertsville Reservoir Project With Respect
To Flood Control

The Gilbertsville Reservoir, also known as the Kentucky Reservoir, was constructed after the 1937 flood to help control the flooding of the lower Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. The drawing depicts the General Plan, Elevation and Sections for the Kentucky Dam. Selected pages are included from the "Report of the Gilbertsville Reservoir Project with Special Reference to Flood Control Aspects."
