Stories Of Relocation: "Uncle Charlie"
And Gustie Ross

The happiness of the people being removed, while not one of TVA's priorities, was assuredly a concern. Indeed, in this narrative about the Ross family's removal, Mrs. Ross is asked if she will be happy in the new home she is being shown. She insists that "she would never by [sic] happy at any other place but her old two story log cabin on Lick Creek."
