Investigation Of The University Of Mississippi Riots

In response to James Meredith attending classes at the University of Mississippi, riots broke out on campus in Oxford attracting observers and participants from across the nation and the world. Due to the destruction and deaths caused by the riots, the FBI conducted an investigation to identify the main instigators. Among those they interviewed was a young correspondent from Texas, Dan Rather, as well as many others involved.
