Lunar Excavation With Nuclear Weapons

The U.S. Army Nuclear Cratering Group published myriad studies assessing the impact of using nuclear weapons for operations other than enemy destruction, such as lunar excavation. The studies were maintained by the Waterways Experiment Station, a division of the Army Corps of Engineers, in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
