The National Archives and Records Administration is continuing its monthly programming “Ask an Archivist, Converse with A Curator” Friday, January 20 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
January 20, 2023 is the 30th anniversary of President Clinton being sworn in as President of the United States. The Education Specialist will give a presentation about the 20th amendment, civics and the inauguration. Visitors to our Ask an Archivist program will learn more about inauguration traditions, including the move from March to January dictated by the 20th Amendment. Visitors to the program will also view documents, photos, videos, and objects from both the 1993 and 1997 inaugurations.
These monthly discussions, held every 3rd Friday of the month, are excellent first-time
opportunities to dialogue with Clinton Museum staff and view gems of the collection
rarely seen. Documents, photos, artifacts, archival knowledge and the work of the
National Archives and Records Administration will be shared during these
presentations enhancing the visitor visit. These lively discussions and demonstrations
are also included with the price of admission.
