The FDR Presidential Library, the Poughkeepsie Journal and the Office of the Dutchess County Historian will present "Democracy in Dutchess" -- a conversation on political life in Dutchess County -- at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the Henry A. Wallace Center at the FDR Presidential Library and Home. Opening remarks will be made by Dutchess County Historian William P. Tatum III. The discussion will be moderated by Library Director Paul Sparrow and will include Poughkeepsie Journal Engagement Editor John Penney, Vassar College Professor of History Rebecca Edwards and Emeritus Professor of Geography at Vassar College Harvey Flad.
