Lights! Camera! Hoover! Summer Camp

This week-long youth camp offers a unique opportunity to produce video to be viewed on the big screen of our theater and across the globe on social media!

Lights, Camera, Hoover! Summer Camp will be held July 22-26, 2024 daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (check-in starts at 9:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.). Cost is $100 per camper for students entering 4th-8th grade. Space is limited to 20 campers. Registration will close July 12, 2024. We have a 12 camper minimum or the event will be canceled.

This camp will guide campers through every aspect of filmmaking. From idea conception to screenwriting, planning, production and post-production, campers will experience every step needed to create a short film about Herbert Hoover.

Parents and guardians will need to sign a release permitting the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum to share photos and videos from this camp.

There is a fee for this camp to cover the cost of materials.
