A virtual screening and discussion of the film A Towering Task: The Story of the Peace Corps. The film will be available for screening online from 7am Saturday March 27th thru 7am Monday March 29th. There will be a panel discussion of the film online at 7pm on Monday March 29th.

The film tells the story of the Peace Corps from its creation in the Kennedy Administration up to the present day. It is the first big picture documentary about the Peace Corps and explores the program's history and legacy, told through interviews, archival materials and more. The film is narrated by Annette Bening.

The discussion panel includes Alana DeJoseph (director), Ambassador Mary Ann Peters, Glenn Blumhorst (CEO, National Peace Corps Assoc.), former Peace Corps volunteers Jason Carter and Mariana Cubillos .
