Author James Conroy will discuss Lincoln’s White House, a book that brings to life the executive mansion and the people who knew it. Conroy explores daily life and day-to-day business during the most tumultuous Civil War years. Drawing on primary sources, Conroy takes the reader on a behind-the-scenes tour that provides new insight into how Lincoln lived and led the government. A book signing follows the program.
