Searching for siblings to find family: Help among the Collaterals

National Archives at New York City, 3rd floor Learning Center
New York, NY

Monday, November 7, 2016 - 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST

Professional Genealogist Roger Joslyn will use several case studies to demonstrate why you should take time from the “pedigree chart syndrome” and learn more about sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Knowing about other kin can properly define your ancestral families, and studying the “collaterals” solves many genealogical problems. Registration: The public should register via newyork.archives@nara.gov or 866-840-1752 to reserve a space.
