The Elephant and Donkey in the Room: The Future of American Political Parties

Panelists from both sides of the aisle consider the fate of the American two-party system. What role will American political parties play in the future? What will be the relevance of America’s two big political parties? What will they look like? Are independents or a third party the future? Panelists include: Howard Dean, former DNC Chairman and founder of Democracy for America; Danny Diaz, FP1 Strategies; Greg Orman, Independent candidate; Jacqueline Salit, IndependentVoting.org; Beth Vonnahme, associate professor of Political Science at University of MO – Kansas City.
