The Vantage Point: White House Photographers on the Presidents They Served

The event will feature Ken Walsh, author of “Ultimate Insiders: White House Photographers and How They Shape History”, among other former presidential photographers. Other proposed panelists include David Valdez (photographer for Bush 41); Pete Souza (Reagan and Obama administrations); Eric Draper (Bush 43); David Hume Kennerly (Ford); and Bob McNeely or Sharon Farmer (photographers for the Clinton administration). A short reception to meet the panelists will kick off the discussion at 5 p.m. and Ken Walsh’s book will be for sale following the event.
