National Volunteer Week is a time for organizations across the country to honor volunteers and recognize the irreplaceable impact of their time and energy all year round. Volunteers at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum play a critical role in our mission to cultivate a better understanding of the Presidency, American history, and important issues of public policy. Furthermore, the National Archives’ Presidential Libraries and Museums bring together the records and artifacts of a President and his administration and present them to the public for study and discussion without regard to political considerations or affiliations.
