Get up close with rarely viewed presidential treasures preserved at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library & Museum. Included with museum admission, White Glove Wednesday presentations are offered every third Wednesday at 11 a.m.

The article featured this week is a princess-style fitted bodice that belonged to Margaret Truman. It has 1 1/2" wide shoulder straps, left side closure with 10 hooks and eyes. 10 rows of scallops around bodice front and back with teardrop shaped clear beads hanging from scallops. Fully lined in ivory mesh and lining has 17 hooks and eyes closure at left side. 3/4" wide pink bias band at waistline to which 6 large female snaps are sewn to attach matching skirt. Bodice lining extends below pink band 3 1/2". One stay 11 7/8" long encased in center back seam of lining. Label in inside of bodice: "Made in France / Christian Dior / Paris
