Wildlife refuges are an important part of Americas land use make-up. They provide areas for wild plants and animals to live safe and stable lives. Living there full time or making seasonal visits, many animals, such as migratory birds, beavers and red wolves, call wildlife refuges home.

Come join us as we explore wildlife refuges with a lesson, a create-a-creature activity, and a guided craft on designing a wildlife refuge. This video is S.T.E.A.M. based and student-centric.

This is the third of our Environmental Awareness Series. The upcoming topic is the Antarctic Protection Act.
