Joint Resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States extending the right to vote to citizens eighteen years of age or older;, Public Laws, 92nd Congress, 1st Session; General Records of the United States Government; Record Group 11; National Archives.

Passed by Congress March 23, 1971, and ratified July 1, 1971, the 26th amendment granted the right to vote to American citizens aged eighteen or older.
