Archivist John W. Carlin to Give Keynote Address at MER'99 Conference
College Park, MD. . .Archivist of the United States John W. Carlin will give the keynote speech at the Seventh National Conference on Managing Electronic Records (MER'99) September 27-29 at the Westin Hotel in Chicago, IL.
As a highlight of MER'99, Archivist John Carlin will give the keynote address entitled New Perspectives for the New Millennium: Addressing the Challenges of Managing Electronic Records. As head of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Mr. Carlin brings a unique perspective to electronic records issues.
Presented by Cohasset Associates, Inc., MER'99 is a focused conference that will address the legal, technical, and operational issues and challenges of managing electronic records. Presentations by experts in the field will provide attendees with the latest information on all of the key issues relating to the management of electronic records.
