Press Availability for the 1790 Census at the National Archives

WHAT:
In anticipation of Census 2000, a one-time only opportunity to photograph and interview experts about the 1790 census. The page showing the name of revolutionary war hero Paul Revere from the Boston, Massachusetts 1790 census will be on display in the National Archives Rotunda through April 9, 2000.
WHEN:
Friday, March 17, 2000. 8:30 a.m.-9:45 a.m.
WHERE:
Rotunda, National Archives Building. Use Pennsylvania Avenue entrance, between 7th and 9th Streets, NW, Washington, DC.
WHO:
Census experts and historians will be available for interviews.
PHOTOGRAPHERS AND CAMERA CREWS:
NO ARTIFICIAL LIGHT may be used in the Rotunda.
